A proud product of the state of Arkansas, Elder McKenley hails from the small town of West Memphis, Arkansas, where he developed a love and sense of compassion for others. McKenley was educated in West Memphis Public Schools and later entered the United States Army in November 1977. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Regis University in July 2000 and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree, in Seminary, Pastor Care and Family & Marriage Counseling, from APEX School of Theology.
McKenley’s, spiritual background began as Baptist; he later on understood what holiness was and received the Holy Ghost. McKenley heard a call from God to preach the gospel while stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, while attending Fellowship Temple, Church of God In Christ under Pastor, Dr James Boyer, of Kansas East, and Prelate, Bishop L. F. Thuston. Brother McKenley served in many capacities of ministry to include Usher, Brotherhood President, Young People Willing Worker Teacher, and Adult Sunday School Teacher.

In 2001, Minister Scullark continued to serve his country in Korea at Camp Red Cloud. He was ordained as an Elder by Bishop Greene. He taught Sunday School, served as a member on the brotherhood, mass choir, sponsorship program, Pastor Aid committee, and was coordinator for the ministers’ staff and incoming Prelate Bishops and visiting brethren.
Elder Scullark and his family later transferred to Fort Eustis, Virginia where they attended
New Bethel Cathedral Church of God in Christ, under the tutelage of Superintendent, Pastor Melvin L. Austin, Virginia 3, and District Bishop Levi Willis Sr. Elder Scullark experienced a mighty brotherhood work and fully understood the joy of service – through many assignments as, Finance Committee Coordinator, Brotherhood President and Teacher for ministers’ staff.
Elder Scullark and his family relocated to Fredericksburg, Virginia after receiving orders to report to Alexandria, Virginia in 2005. Soon thereafter, the family became members of The Answer Church of God In Christ, under Pastor Carl B. McPherson Sr. Elder Scullark served as Senior Elder, Pastor Aide President, President of Finance committed, Sunday Teacher, President of Brotherhood and Advisor on all church auxiliaries.
After 30 years of dedicated service Elder Scullark retired in November 2007 from Active Army as Sergeant Major. He continued his ministerial calling and was appointed by Pastor Carl B. McPherson in January 2013 to serve as Assistant Pastor of The Answer Church of God In Christ.
Elder McKenley Scullark is happily married to his sweetheart Evangelist Lady Canary Scullark “straight time married 35 plus years” and from this union they have two adult sons currently serving on Active duty in the Armed Forces and two handsome grandsons.
Pastor Scullark serves the Lord with gladness. He is an excellent example and leader to the people of God, and inspires them on to higher heights in the Lord. He gives all the glory to God.
